HbeaRt (2017) written for Piano and Live Electronics
Group Motion, Philadelphia’s longest running contemporary dance company, continues with its Spiel Uhr Series presenting new performance works on June 4th, 7pm at the CEC’s Meetinghouse Theater, 3500 Lancaster Avenue, Philadelphia. Works include Solo Not Alone by San Francisco based choreographer, Aura Fischbeck, and Syria – A Fractal of We with music and video by New York based composer Niloufar Nourbakhsh, dance by the Group Motion Company, live music by Tom Motzer, and direction by Manfred Fischbeck. Partial proceeds will be donated to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.

Nilou and Soprano Lisa Flanagan have been announced 3rd prize winners of 2017 SongSLAM – New Art Song Competition, hosted by Sparks and Wiry Cries, performing “Serenade” based on Pablo Neruda’s poetry.
